Anti-Desertification 6000 Km Wall Around Sahara Desert

We all know the largest building on the planet, but when it comes to stopping a natural disaster, people are able to do impossible things. For example, desertification problem in Africa has no solution until now.Magnus Larsson,an architect, presented his project this year, about how desertification in Africa could be stopped,at the anual Oxford Conference. To stop this natural disaster the architect was thinking about building a huge wall around Sahara desert. This anti-desertification wall should be 6000 km long, and should be built between Mauritania and eastern Africa in Djibouti.

Desertification problem is considered as one of the most severe battles with nature. The architect claimed in an interview that his wall of solidified sand could prevent dunes extend.Africans also came with their own idea, to plant a belt of trees on the same path , to stop desertification ( ” Great Green Chinese Wall“). My opinion is that, architects and Africans engineers should use both strategies in the same time, to build the sand wall and behind it, the trees belt.Same method was used to stop expanding desertification in the Gobi desert in 2007.This project should be started as soon as possible because the extension of sand dunes, severely affecting the population of many near states. In some areas, desetification moved villages completely to other location.
