In a previous post my friend “Ecodistant” presented the best water purification methods (Distillation,Carbon Absorption,Ion Exchange,Microporous Basic Filtration,Ultrafiltration,Reverse Osmosis BWPM). These purification methods are very practical, but now there is something new on markets, and as usual, when something new appears we leave behind old things

I want to say that 80% of nowadays diseases are caused by the low quality of water we drink. For this reason engineers and designers try to create daily, effective water purifying systems, to provide a healthy water, for everyone who wants a cup of clean drink. These water purification systems are generally difficult to buy due to the rised prices, but there are also some cheaper water purification systems, similar to the next one. It is about a portble Non-electric water purifier.
This system is based on modulating the sunlight to UVC frequency. This portable water purification system was developed by an industrial designer, Talia Radford and is called AquaIris. Actually, AquaIris has a set of thin lenses, and water passes through them(one molecule of water). When a water molecule is between lenses, is hit by UV rays, so all bacteria are destroyed. AquaIris can purify up to 300ml of water and soon, this water purification system will appear in all speciality stores. I have presented another similar water purification system in a previous post, but this system was based on water evaporation, heated by solar rays:
