In a previous post we presented a special designed bicycle, made by Mercedes-Benz, a folding bike, easy to carry anywhere and perfect for someone who is striving to protect the environment and reduce CO2 emissions.

This bike is very practical, but the only thing that is not matching with this folding bicycle performances, is the price (still pretty high for a bike). Designers from around the world are trying to produce daily similar eco-friendly bikes, and they are even awarded for best designed products .
Same thing happened with Dominic Hargreaves, a 24 year student from Battersea, London, who was awarded in “James Dyson Award” competition with £ 10.000 prize for the most practical eco-friendly folding bike ever built. The amazing design, allow to fold it in just 20 seconds without any special tool, in the space between the wheels (26-inch circumference).
This folding bike is named “The Contortionist” due to it’s special design. (this folding bike fits perfectly in your car trunk, so can be carried anywhere, anytime). The following video is really amazing, you can see “The Contortionist” in actions (can be folded in less than 20 seconds!
