We can easily see that nowadays, in the world people try to save natural resources and protect the environment, by using alternative energy sources and advanced technologies. I think we all agree that China and Japan are two countries with a high developed technology and every day in these countries appear new ideas and new revolutionary things.

One of the most popular eco-friendly activities in the world is the environmental lighting. (based on a new technologies able to reduce electricity consumption). If we talk about technology, we have to talk about China, where authorities from Beijing decided to replace 10 million usual bulbs with some new eco-friendly bulbs, until September this year.

This ecological lighting project will cover all major institutions in Beijing (schools, hospitals, universities, sports) and in addition, people from 5 districts of Beijing will also receive such lighting systems(each family will receive an ecological lightbulb).

Chinese authorities say that these lighting systems can reduce electricity bills by $35 million, every year. Every eco-lightbulb distributed for people from Chaoyang, Haidian, Fengtai, Tongzhou Shunyi will be 90% cheaper than any usual lightbulb, and with the same lighting efficiency. The most important thing for every family in Beijing is represented by the reduced electricity bills from their near future. This type of eco-lighting systems should be used in the entire world because we must save exhaustible energy resources and protect the environment as much as possible.
