Global Climate Could be Influenced by Jellyfish Movements in Water

Global warming problem is a very complicated problem today, a problem influenced by many factors, a problem that can be solved with a huge effort, with willpower, technology and also with love for nature.

One of main factors influencing the planet’s climate and global warming process, is represented by oceanic water movement. This thing was recently discovered after some detailed studies. Oceanic water movement is actually the result of heat exchange between polar waters and tropical waters, between deep waters (cold waters) and surface water (hot water).

Older studies about oceanic water movements, showed that this process happens because of wind power and Moon’s gravitational forces exerted on ocean tides. Unlike these studies, two researchers from California Institute of Technology in Pasadena found that aquatic fauna could influence oceanic water moves and thus could influence the evolution of global climate. This discovery is based on an older assumption of Charles Darwin, who says that oceanic fauna with a unique structure and unique behavior can move oceanic waters due to viscosity.

William Dewar, scientist from the University of Florida explained this study: Researchers calculated the volume of cold water that jellyfish brings to the surface (in hot water), in a lake located on Palau island, in Pacific Ocean. They have used a laser system to assess water movements. Their calculations are not so advanced, but a similar process on planetary scale, could greatly influence global climate and also global warming.

The only problem in this discovery is represented by the shape and movement direction of oceanic fauna. If this experiment will be a planetary-scale success, global climate could be “rearranged”, and all calculations and studies made about global warming would be unnecessary.

really? so how can we deal with it the next step. Human beings don’t really realize this.
