Don’t we all hate when the light goes out in the night, just as we write something at the desk ? Didn’t we had enough with the old incandescent lights, that die out when you least expected ? Not to mention how much they consume. And then the whole work of replacing it, specially if they at – hard to reach – spots… Now with a recent on incandescent light bulbs, alternatives are quickly found, such as a modern LED bulb, that now, lasts much longer.
have announced the creation of a new series of household LED bulbs as part of the EverLed line, that last up 40 more than the conventional incandescent light bulbs. That amounts, if used in average 5 and a half hours a day,to a lifespan of 19 years! They come in light and very efficient shape and ranging from 4 W to 7.6 W.
According to the company, the new LED light bulbs will cut some expenses when it comes to paying your electricity bill because these light bulbs only use one eighth the amount of power incandescents do. For example, if we take a Panasonic LED model with the lumen (brightness) equivalent of a 60W incandescent light bulb it will cost not more than $3 in a year’s time, in comparison to $25,60, which the incandescent would cost. That is some savings !
The products will be available in Japan from October 21. No price information have been released yet.
