Global warming is a very discussed problem, and every day researchers and scientists discover more and more negative effects that increasing temperature may have on our planet. This month, British Embassy announced the latest discoveries about global warming effects on our planet. Among many shocking statements, British Ambassador Robin Barnett said: „Global warming will not affect only polar bears. Global warming is a major problem that can affect vital resources and this thing could have extremely serious consequences.” Robin Barnett also said that global warming can affect even the relationships between governments. According to some studies made in South East Europe, population could bear the following risks, if the temperature will rise with 4 Celsius degrees: dramatic decrease of water resources, frequent droughts and outbreak of devastating fires.
Ultracapacitor Buses – More Greener And Cheaper

The search for more economical and fuel-efficient buses have led engineers from building hydrogen-fuel transit vehicles to hybrid-electric ones. But, as it turns out, the most environmentally-friendly and cheapest way to power buses proved to be the ultracapacitor buses. At least that is what a Chinese company, Shanghai Aowei Technology Development Company, and its partner for the U.S.A, Sinautec Automobile Technologies, states.
German Team Wins First Prize At The Solar Decathlon

Hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Solar Decathlon is a competition held for three weeks in October, where 20 teams of college and university students from Canada, U.S.A. and Europe, compete to design and build the most energy efficient and effective house, using solar technology. The event is also intended to be open for the public, so they can observe the latest solar equipments and technology used to create one of the most efficient houses in the world.

Audi Efficiency Challenge – Low Emissions, Low Fuel Consumption

Audi recently announced that they want to make an experiment to show once again the efficiency of their models over a distance of 4182 kilometers. The purpose of these experiments is to show that Audi products (Audi cars) are most effective if we talk about emissions and fuel consumption. This experiment is called “Audi Efficiency Challenge from A to B“, and will be presented to a group of 120 journalists, to show them that CO2 emissions and fuel consumption can achieve an ideal rate on 4182 km distance.
