The Capital Wind Farm can Boost Australia’s Wind Power Capacity by 10%

We talked several times on MyGreenTreasure.com about wind farms or how to build the most efficient wind farm and today we can finally talk about one of the largest wind farm in New South Wales, Bungendore. Australia seems to be a good place for these wind farms(because of the relief), and over time, investors have tried to implement various wind projects in this area.

NSW Premier Nathan Rees, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Minister for Climate Change recently announced the launch of a new wind farm called “Capital Wind Farm“, a green energy source, able to increase Australia’s total energy by 10%. the power of 140.7 MW is produced by 67 S88 Suzlon turbines.This wind farm brings many benefits for Australia, and most important are:

-120 jobs for local residents;
-Employment for workers from other wind farms;
-The wind farm provides opportunities to learn about electro technology and wind turbines;
-Capital Wind Farm will power the new desalination plant at Kurnell;

Companies that have helped in this project are Victoria Keppel Prince Engineering and Queensland’s RPG. Renewable energy sources similar to Capital Wind Farm are actually “the future sources of energy for our planet”, and I think that would be good for all countries in the world to start similar projects.
