Self-Sufficient „Eco Shower” Saves Water and Electricity

Industrial designer Paul Frigout recently proposed a self-sufficient concept shower able to reduce water and electricity consumption. Everyone loves a shower after a hard day, but even this simple activity involves a high consumption of water and electricity. This shower uses an ingenious system to produce electricity. Inside the showerhead there is a turbine that produces electricity when water pass through it. The electricity generated is used to heat the water.
This eco-friendly shower is also equipped with a water pumping system. Some pressure blocks located in the bottom of the shower, pump water to the showerhead when the user steps on them. This unique system is able to regulate the flow of pumped water, depending on user weight. This eco-friendly shower, dubbed „Eco Shower”, also recycles water. So, the water we used before to take a single shower is enough to take three times more showers using Eco Shower system. These green concepts will appear in the near future more and more because of the need to reduce consumption of non renewable resources.
