China is one of the countries that succed to amaze us daily with its new technological inventions. Chinesse researchers have succeedeed many times to achieve some notable performance more than American researchers performances for example. Few days ago China launched what they call “the fastest electric train in the world”, and it seems that this train is as they say, because it can reach a speed of 350km/h.

The high speed train was designed to cover a distance of 1068 kilometers, between Wuhan (in central China ) and Guangzhou, in just two hours and 45 minutes. To realise this project took part renowned companies such as Siemens, Bombardier and Alstom. The biggest advantage that this electrin train offers to passengers is time. Before this project, the distance between the two cities mentioned above takes up to about 8 hours, which means that in present, this “mega-elecrtic vehicle” can reduce travel time by more than six hours.

This new electric high-speed train can reach a top speed of 394.2 km/h and the Chinese authorities have highlighted this through a comparison with other countries:
- 243km/h in Japan;
- 232km/h in Germany;
- 277km/h in France.
I think that this elecrtric train is definitely the fastest train in the world, and I think they should build more such efficient vehicles. In fact, the Chinese government has already planned to build another 42 high-speed trains until the end of 2012.
