How to Heat Up Your Home Using Geothermal Energy

Until now, the geothermal energy was not a very popular topic on myGreenTreasure.com, so I thought that from now on, I should insist more on this alternative energy source. When we say “geothermal energy” we should think at the energy of the underground fluids and rocks. The most important things we should know about geothermal energy are: it is clean energy, it is renewable and it can be used for heating or electricity production.
Several kilometers deep in Earth’s crust, there are located some geothermal reservoirs. These reservoirs can be used directly for heating buildings or for water heating. Even with a few thousand years ago people used hot springs for bathing or cooking, so my question is, why we don’t take advantage of this energy source, considering the existing technology?… Now, I know that such geothermal system for home use costs about €15,000(including installation), but if we think in perspective, we realize that it is actually a profitable investment. So, instead of buying a car for example we could try to reduce our energy consumption on long-term, by installing a geothermal system.
In order to heat or cool our homes we need to use geothermal pumps. These geothermal pumps are composed of three main parts: the heat exchanger unit (with the ground), the heat pump and the air supply system. The exchange unit is arranged in a series of spiral pipes, buried on top of earth’s crust, near the building. A fluid (usually water or a water and antifreeze solution) – flow through pipes and absorbs or gives off soil heat.
It is not too complicated. There are just few physical and thermal principles that must be followed. So, if you decide to save your money in the future, just contact a specialized company.

The Geo-thermal energy now happens to be the most occuring talk, after seeing the ill-causes of Green house or may be the unawareness of the Eco-lovers. This time the new equipment that features Geo and Thermal conversion, would make a difference.
Yes, you’re right.
