Alta Wind Energy Center will Power 600,000 Homes in Southern California

A huge area of thousands of acres will be mobilized to generate energy for 600,000 homes in Southern California. At a distance of about 75 miles north of Los Angeles, in the Tehachapi Pass, they will install hundreds of towering turbines which will generate, as they say, three times as much energy as the country’s largest existing wind farms.
