EcoloBlue Atmospheric Water Generator Able to Absorb Humidity From Air

2 May 2009 | Green News, Green Technology | No Comments

We all know that water is a basic element in our life, an essential element,( without water we could not live.Even the human body consists of 80-90% water). Water is everywhere in the ground,in plants,in the air.Yes, in the air! The air around us has different levels of humidity depending on our location. This water from the air is now used in producing clean drinking water.
This device is called EcoloBlue AWG (Atmospheric Water Generator), and is able to absorb humidity(water) from the air and transform it in clean drinking water (can produce 7 gallons of clean water each day). The device can be found in stores at a price of $1350 and for those that you buy is good to keep in mind that this device works at normal parameters with an air humidity of 50%, but can withstand at a humidity below 30%.
The device is equipped with some steel tanks and a filtration system that produces the water with the best taste, the purest water you can find. This product is already used by many people, but we talk about people with lots of money, because $1350 is not a cheap price for awater purification system.Probably, by using EcoloBlue we will save a large amount of water from other resources(payable sources),and Ecoloblue will pay for itself in time.

What is Called as Being Sustainable?

22 April 2009 | Green News | No Comments

The adjective “sustainable” is associated with different terms included under the generous concept – sustainable development. These terms are used in literature, not in a unitary way, so the present text is far from being exhausting.
a)Sustainable system.
To understand the terms in a systemic conception, the concept of “sustainable system” is firstly defined, as the system that survives in a specified period. The sustainable system fulfils the expected life-time, however, no system has an infinite life-time.Thus, the sustainability of systems becomes a matter of predicting a set of surviving conditions for a specified finite time.
b)Sustainable society.
The end of the XX-th century was characterised by the recognition of the trilemma generated by a harmonisation of the economic growth, a distribution of resources and preservation of the environment.A society living in a harmony with nature and with itself is frequently called sustainable society.
c)Sustainable environment.
Sustainable environment – the resources are able to sustain life, health and the development within acceptable limits, on the one hand, and to regenerate itself, on the other one.
d)Sustainable future.
Healthy environment, economic prosperity and social justice, simultaneously responding the purpose of ensuring the well-being and the quality of life for the present and future generations, describe, what is called “sustainable future“.The crucial element to reach this future is education.
